Description: This solid timber dulcimer offers a 3 octave range of sparking, clean, balanced sound. The 16-course treble bridge and the 15-course bass bridge feature additional chromatic notes to facilitate playing accidental notes and songs in up to 7 major key signatures (Bb,F,C,G,D,A,E) as well as the relative minor keys and modes. The D45 can be fitted with damper pedals that can be installed when the instrument is built or easily added later by the player. A beautifully crafted instrument in sapele, walnut and maple with a rich voice, pleasing versatility and eye-catching elegance.
The D45 is larger and heavier than the D10 and Prelude, but still compact and with a rich bass and bell-like treble. West Coast Harps sells this model with the high-quality fitted soft-shell case (C45) and it comes with a set of one-sided hammers, owner's guide book, and a T-handle tuning key.
